I long to be free Of this pain To be rid of this tightening around the heart to be rid of unshed tears staining my soul to be rid of the roiling acidic torrents eating me alive to be rid of misguided awareness stumbling along a misleading path to be rid of an imposed morality which burdens unbearably to be rid of love with all its pulling strings to be rid of hate that knots love’s strings to wound me to be rid of god so there would be no consequences to be rid of Satan so there would be no need only peace.
