Barroom Ride
She walked into the bar
Unnoticed and unadored
Wandering aimlessly
Just another whore
And he watched from afar
Cynical and bored
Until he saw her
Weaving across the floor
He started a conversation
So easy to draw her in
With a flirty invitation
And a smile hot as sin
She felt intelligent and sexy
As he undressed her with his eyes
So simple to lure her,
She believed the disguise.
She should've seen the wreakage
All the girls he left behind
But he was slick
And she was blind.
Now she sits naked
Just a one-hit wonder
Another barroom ride.
